For the first few steps, don't press down also hard with your pencil. Use light, smooth strokes to begin.
Stride i: Draw two curved lines next to each other for the whale'due south optics. Sketch lightly at starting time and then that it'south easy to erase if you make a mistake. When you lot go the shapes right, darken the lines and make them thick. The shape of the curved lines should be similar to a half-circle. Pay attention to the placement of the curved lines. Don't draw them too far autonomously.
Step 2: Under each curved line, depict a minor circle for the irises. The circumvolve on the left should be in the middle of the whale'southward eye. The circle on the correct should be close to the left tip of the line.
Footstep iii: Inside each iris, off to the side, draw a tiny circle to stand for glare. In the middle of each iris, describe a big dot for the pupils. As you lot shade the whale'due south pupils, don't overlap the tiny glare circles.
Stride iv: Below the whale's eyes, draw a small U-shaped line for the oral fissure.
Step 5: Draw the whale's head past first making a small marking near the middle on the right. At present make a mark high above the optics and another marker below the eyes. Now connect the marks using curved lines to create the shape of the head. Sketch lightly at first. When you get the bend right, darken the lines.
