And the fact that most pieces fold flat should you need to store or move them's an added bonus. Plus, they're all made of steel that's powder coated, so the hold an unbelievable amount of weight per shelf and the paint will never chip. I have mostly white pieces in my craft room and these units make my space seem bigger and give such a professional look to it. Michael's only carries a few Origami pieces, there's many more you can use throughout your house or office.

Is this a new a new item with a Michaels? If you have never used Origami storage, you are missing out! It is simply the best. It folds up easily. The hardest part of set-up is taking it out of the box. I love that it comes with metal casters, so you can roll it around your studio. We just moved, and my studios were easily packed up and moved while my husband's workshops took longer because he had "old" standard shelving. Origami is much sturdier that those plastic craft shelves you've been buying & the drawers are roomy to fit all sizes of crafting materials. Hopefully Michaels will get more colors! I like the greens & bronze metals.
