Requesting a pickup for your home? We request that all donations be brought out to the curbside, into your driveway, or to an easily accessible part of your garage. Our pick-up staff cannot enter your home to call up items due to liability concerns.
what does ReStore have? donation criteria
ReStore is unable to accept items that are damaged, broken, non working, missing parts, rusted, rotted, or splintered. Acceptability is at the discretion of ReStore drivers and donation staff. ReStore reserves the correct to turn down donations based on electric current inventory stock and status.

ReStore is now accepting pick-up and drop-off donations with additional acceptability criteria to protect the health of our customers, donors, and staff. In addition to our usual donation criteria above, ReStore must temporarily decline the following items:
NO USED Material OR FABRIC couches, loveseats, futons, sleeper sofas, chairs, ottomans, household items, home décor, curtains, cushions, bed frames, role chairs, patio umbrellas, carpet padding or carpeting squares
reduce, reuse, recycle recycling at ReStore
Mattresses and paint cannot be accustomed equally donations. However, they can be recycled at ReStore Oakland during regular donation driblet-off hours. Additionally, hazardous waste material such as batteries, fluorescent lights, and aerosols can be tending of at the Household Chancy Waste Facility, located right next to ReStore San Jose, in the San Jose Environmental Innovation Center
